How to read this list
All entries come from the companies’ own websites or public directories, checked on 12 October 2026. Processes, machines and certifications are as stated by each company, not verified by Fractio; request current certificates (number, body, scope) before relying on them. Listing does not imply any commercial relationship with Fractio, confirmation of interest in new customers, or suitability for your part. Companies that wish to correct or remove an entry can write to miguel@fractio.se.

Patterns worth knowing
- The Aveiro–Águeda–Porto–Braga band holds most series machining and sheet-metal shops; Marinha Grande and Leiria shops often grew out of mould-making and handle large formats and 5-axis work; Évora and Elvas host aerospace- and medical-grade shops (Mecachrome, Argo Baum).
- ISO 9001 is common; IATF 16949 appears mainly at contract manufacturers serving automotive (e.g. MCG); ISO 13485 at a few medical-oriented shops (SISMA, Argo Baum); EN 9100 at aerospace suppliers (Edaetech, VB Fresagem, Vangest, Mecachrome).
- Machine parks are rarely published in detail; ask for the equipment list, max envelope and measuring equipment in the first exchange.
- Companies whose own site could not be reached or that only resell machines were left out; the list will grow as entries are verified.
